Manager Audit

Responsibilities:

In addition to the requirements set out under the Senior scope below, the incumbent is further expected to:

  • Ensuring achievement of targets through effective management of engagements, clients, and resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with exposure on related job scope.
  • A member of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g. KICPAA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia)
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional qualification in accounting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging workloads
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Accounting Standards, Tax Law in Cambodia, Companies Act, and capital market rules and requirements
  • Pleasant disposition with positive outlook in life.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently & possess high integrity.
  • Will be required to travel on assignment to Province and to other locations around the region.
  • Good command of verbal and writing skills in English and Khmer. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Senior Audit

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to manage audit clientele portfolio and plan, delegate and lead the assignments including client servicing.
  • To lead a team of auditors in carrying out duties, to coach and mentor auditors for their career development.
  • To review audit reports, identify issues, presentations on audit findings and recommendations as well as conducting appropriate follow up actions and meeting tight deadlines.
  • To provide financial assurance services and mange special projects such as IPO engagements, corporate exercise and financial due diligence.
  • Ensure audit is carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards.
  • Responsible to audit various industries and draft the audit reports.
  • Conduct field audit on a portfolio of clients assigned.
  • Supervise and guide the junior audit team to carry out audit assurance assignments.
  • Work diligently with the Managers to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • To liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments accordingly to different clientele portfolios and industry.

Requirements:

Associate Audit

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
  • Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit, tax and account procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client’s engagement history, and planned audit approach.
  • Recognise potential issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the team.
  • Work diligently with the Managers to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • To liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments accordingly to different clientele portfolios and industry.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline and/ or a professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW/ ACCA/ CPA Aust./ MBA)
  • Membership of KICPAA is an added Advantage.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently & possess high integrity.
  • Good command of verbal and writing skills in English and Khmer. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Corporate Finance and Corporate Recovery Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution and delivery of corporate finance and corporate recovery assignments, including:
    • Mergers and acquisitions.
    • Fund raising.
    • Initial public offering.
    • Valuations.
    • Due diligence.
    • Business turnaround advisory.
    • Restructuring of loans and companies.
    • Liquidation/dissolution of companies.
  • Preparation of proposals to clients, after understanding the clients’ needs and their business.
  • Recognise potential issues from analysis of financial statements.
  • Research on the relevant corporate finance and corporate recovery solutions and procedures.
  • Attending to and dealing with the relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Work diligently with directors and managers to ensure that the client deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with client on all aspects of the assignments, including information gathering and seeking clarifications.

Requirements:

Corporate Advisory Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution and delivery of corporate advisory assignments, including:
    • Documentation to register with the Ministry of Commerce, Council for Development of Cambodia, General Department of Taxation or any establishment or amendment.
    • Documentation required under the provisions of the Labour Law.
    • File various documentation or returns required under the provisions of the Law on Commercial Enterprises, Labor Law and NSSF.
    • File monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual reports under the Ministry of Economic and Finance.
    • Keep proper documentation for the clients at all times.
    • File any documentation including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the clients’ companies and/or authorised representatives in Cambodia.
    • Ensure that annual declarations of commercial enterprises are submitted.
  • Preparation of proposals to clients, after understanding the clients’ needs and their business.
  • Research and understanding of the companies and authorised representative requirements in Cambodia, including the incorporation of companies, filing and upkeeping of records and returns, minutes of meetings, and meeting rules and procedures.
  • Attending to and dealing with the relevant regulatory authorities, including the lodgement of forms and correspondences.
  • Work diligently with directors and managers to ensure that the client deadlines are complied with.
  • Liaise with client on all aspects of the assignments, including information gathering and seeking clarifications.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in administration, accounting, finance, legal or related business fields, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, CPA Australia, CFA or MBA).
  • Membership of KICPAA is an added advantage.
